Stepping forth, getting a closer look at the two guards before the castle entrance, you may be impressed at the seriousness of their straight ahead gaze. The signs will inform you of the dress code enforced in this magical Sim, and offer you an LM. It might be worthwhile to get one now.
Enter the imposing castle and look around. It is okay to gasp in astonishment. You have entered a realm unlike any other in Second Life. You are literally in a place where dragons, and knights, magicians and chivalry are the norm. Welcome to Avalon.
Avalon is one of the most innovative, fantasy enriched Sims you can find. The brilliant minds behind this have virtually placed a role playing adventure venue within a virtual world. Quite simply put, you are the player! It would be impossible to describe or list every detail pertaining to the Realm within the alotted space, but here is a brief idea on what to expect.
As you look about the castle entrance area, you will notice several very important items. It is recommended that you take the notecards offered from the Info sign straight ahead. Included will be a more concise description of the Sim, and a copy of the Constitution. Read these carefully, as they are invaluable in helping you begin your adventure.
You will also notice several boxes offering free clothing and accessories. These will be very helpful should you decide to join in the actual game play. It must be emphasized, visitors and guests are greatly welcomed, and will be treated with the utmost politeness and respect. But, if you should decide to partake in the role playing fantasy you will be required to join the Avalon group, and you will be bound to the particular rules and laws of this Sim. Remember, you are in actuality becoming a citizen.
