I enjoy and respect the military and the people who serve The United States of America. I also enjoy the rich history of the military and learning more about the sacrifice of service. Olds AFB is a great place to come and not just visit but to learn and immerse yourself into the lifestyle of the Airforce.
You have the opportunity to help donate to a fund that is trying to save one of the old war ships from being destroyed. You can also explore the vast sim that houses Olds AFB. There are many informational signs to touch for more information and a cool set of dog tags to complete the experience.
You know you have to wear the tags so that if something happens to you, you will get the proper treatment and identification. There is so much to do and see on the base. There is a tower you can walk up flights of steps and get a wonderful view of the base. You can also come and do some fishing with 7 Seas Fishing set up on the base grounds.
You can join the group and keep up to date with things that are to come. You will also be able to feel like you are on an actual real life base. I happen to live close to March Joint AFB in Riverside CA. I can look at the work done at Olds AFB and it reminds me of March.
You can enjoy the role play of the environment by finding out more about the things offered role wise. I had a fun visit it definitely brought back some memories that were pleasant. You can also go and create some new memories or just memories that you never thought you could have.
