Second Life has everything to offer for it's modern age military role playing residents, and Olds Air Force Base has that everything. All that you can imagine on a real life Air Force Base, but without the drill instructors yelling in your face. From the barracks that a soldier would rest in to the debriefing rooms to cover the key points on your mission. Your aerial and land based combat playground begins here.
The Sim lets you bring out your combat vehicles of your own. Vehicles includes Jets, Planes, Helicopters, Jeeps, and Tanks. All vehicles that you bring must only run on the Vehicle Infantry Combat Environment System and the Counter Measure System, all others are not allowed. Vehicles can not be overpowered or have an unfair advantage. All vehicles have to fit the feel of being on a modern battlefield, so no fictional weapons or vehicles. Not all vehicles are allowed to be used in the combat area. The rules and regulations found in the main areas show a full list of what vehicles are prohibited. The Sim is a combat role playing zone and has the heads up displays and tags that are required while engaging enemies on the land. You have the option to join one of three teams to battle as. The choices are Team 1: NATO / ASEAN, Team 2: Warsaw Pact / Arab League, and finally Team 3: The U. L. F. Rebels. Each team tally's up your kill count for you personally and total for the whole team that you choose so shoot your way to the top. The land has its own Vendor Mall above the combat zone to increase your arsenal. The vendor mall is high in the air that requires a teleporter to access and is out of the way so it will not bother the aerial combat. So lock and load, it's go time!
