The Elegant Goth's mainstore comfortably ...

by Zatasha Zabaleta

The Elegant Goth's mainstore comfortably houses gallery after gallery of amazing furniture. Two floors of displays give easy access to different colorsets and permissions sets of the store's many great creations. Teleporter boards are located periodically throughout the store, and in the foyer on the top floor. The locations available are sorted by theme or purpose: like bathrooms, cemetery, and a section for 7Seas fishing.

On the note of fishing and other games, the hunts and groups that the store participates in are displayed in the front hallway to the foyer and near the desk, as is a Midnight Mania board with a quirky present (at the time of this review, it was a tastefully gored and decaying santa. The VIP group has a one-time fee, and monthly gifts and discounts on furniture sets.

Most furniture is on display in the store with full features—trying them out reveals scripted adjustment and one or two animations per piece. They are all reasonably sized and should fit avatars between 5. 5 feet and 7 feet without any adjustments. The sculpting is absolutely amazing, with no puckers or awkward seams. Most sets include tasteful clutter items, especially in holiday themed sets. All of the texturing is highly detailed and has vivid coloring, with not a single thing out of place.

Fancy, spooky, and elaborate designs are the hallmark of this store—something that gives the entire building and grounds the namesake Elegant air. Prices are also reasonable: ranging in the low to mid hundreds for components of sets, to about 1500 Linden Dollars for most complete dining or bathroom sets.

The architecture of the Gothic ...

by Dydra Darkthief

The architecture of the Gothic era is just unbelievably astounding. Details excruciatingly crafted into each design piece have an elegant appearance and at the same time graphically horrifying to behold, but each piece is a masterfully crafted and shows a beauty like none other. Each of the unique colored designs for ...
