I have been looking around Second Life all day for a photography studio that didn't want at least 1, 000 Lindens for a photo. Great for me I finally found one. I was so happy to see that the photos look high quality too.
For those of you who like morphs they don't offer them yet. However, you can still get a great shot with your avatar's body featured instead of one that is pasted on something else. I personally don't like morphs because it takes away from the skill of the photographer to catch a real shot in Second Life.
Enough with my own opinion, I like the way that Pixel Print Studio is set up. I believe a photo shoot can be held right in front of the business. The scenery is wonderful and very seasonal feeling. The walls are lined with photos from the staff so you can get a sample of the work each individual does.
Quality photos are a must, you can tell a lot about an avatar just from the photos you find in their profile or flicker. At Pixel Print Studio you can tell a lot about the staff from the photos on the walls. I will definitely come and enjoy a shoot when I desire to see how someone else can capture and interpret my avatar.
Photography is a detailed story that you are telling threw a moment captured and frozen in time. It's always nice to make a decent shot for yourself but, if you don't possess the skills to add and enhance the photo please go pay for one. Photography isn't just a thing you do for the sake of it, it's an art form and when done properly you will be able to create not just a "wow that is pretty" but captivate with an actual emotion.
