Pocket Avatars caters for residents who enjoy tiny avatars. Each avatar on sale is quoted as being a quarter of the size of normal Second Life avatars. Their main products are fantasy, fairy and elf themed models, but they also sell more traditional models, with Victorian and Renaissance models on offer as well as clothing, footwear and particle emitters.

The store has a large forefront, flanked with large welcoming trees, heavy with blossoms. At the entrance, there is a handy group joiner board which follows the business's theme of lush, fantasy woodland. The store itself is bright and open, with a very pleasant sense of space. At the rear of the store is a small seating area which offers a welcoming view over a number of other parcels, all sharing a general theme of a tropical island, with a spectacular waterfall in the foreground and sea views on the horizon.

You are greeted with a number of product boards offering some of their most impressive avatars. Each product board is accompanied by a free demo model, which would be of benefit to residents who are not yet sure whether such a small avatar is for them.

The store is sectioned off into four separate areas. While one remains empty, the rest are neatly presented, with easy to approach boards and a set of shelves which contain accessories, information on the products for sale and a free gift bag. There are more group joiner boards inside the store, as well as an online notifier board for the store owner.

On one wall of the store is a useful sales board dedicated to buying avatars as a gift, enabling you to purchase items not just for yourself, but your friends also. all of the avatars on sale on the regular sales boards are available on the gift board, which scrolls automatically through the products, but also offers navigation buttons and an information point.

Each Avatar comes with an impressive complete set of clothing and accessories and HUD controlled hair and skin options. Considering the quality of products available at other places in the same price range, Pocket Avatars represents good value for money, as well as a unique experience.

The avatars themselves are created using the Mesh system, which means residents will need a compatible viewer in order to correctly render their purchased product, but the results are spectacular. The quality of the products and attention to detail, given the size of the avatars, clothing and accessories, is marvelous.
